MCG Consult has been engaged by Projex Properties as the Civil and Transport Engineer for the Rockbank Major Town Centre (MTC), a significant mixed-use precinct development located in Melbourne’s western growth corridor within the City of Melton.

Working collaboratively with TRG (Architect) and Tract (Town Planner), MCG Consult is responsible for the civil and transport engineering design of the precinct in accordance with the Rockbank Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) and the approved Urban Design Framework (UDF).

The Rockbank MTC is anchored around the existing Rockbank Railway Station and will deliver a pedestrian-focused, mixed-use entertainment, retail, civic and residential precinct for the growing Rockbank community. The precinct encompasses approximately 30,000m² of retail floor space, community facilities including an indoor recreation centre, higher-density residential development, and a network of public open spaces, streets and plazas — with the capacity to generate over 1,500 local jobs.
