Richmond Square is a landmark mixed-use development on Melbourne’s CBD fringe, delivering 107 high-end apartments, design-led strata office suites, and a curated ground-level offering of specialty retail, hospitality and wellness tenancies, alongside significant public realm upgrades.

Developed by Fortis and delivered by Hacer Group under a Design & Construct contract, the project includes activated laneway connections, high-quality streetscape interfaces and coordinated public realm design. The residential buildings are targeting a 5.5-star Green Star rating.

MCG Consult is the lead civil engineer, responsible for public realm grading, civil street design, drainage and stormwater management, WSUD integration, and resolving complex below-ground constraints — including the relocation of a Council drainage asset through a basement structure, requiring rigorous justification, hydraulic modelling and authority review.
